This year, Freshmen and Junior students will have the opportunity to take a computerized test that measures verbal and visual memory, processing speed and reaction time to establish a student’s “baseline.” The baseline is a measure of how a student performs on the test when they are cognitively healthy (not concussed). If a student sustains a concussion after taking the baseline test, if prescribed by their doctor, the student may retake the test to get a post-concussion measurement.
Your students will complete the online baseline testing on:
Thursday, August 17th during Physical Education, Health and Driver's Education Classes: Your son/daughter will receive the testing room location from his/her teacher. Zero-Hour Crossfit will test at 6:30am in the Field House
REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ON AUGUST 1ST - EVERY PARENT/GUARDIAN WILL NEED TO ACCESS THE LINK TO REGISTER FOR THE CONCUSSION SCREENING - https://weblink.advocatehealth.com/wlp2/#!/classes/listing/$ClassCode=5N38
EVERY STUDENT WILL NEED TO BRING THEIR FULLY-CHARGED CHROMEBOOK TO THE TEST
