Website Restructure

Hello there!

We've rearranged a few things, tidied up a bit and added some new features.

Based on the feedback we received from our stakeholders, we have worked hard to restructure the website that meets all of our community's needs. Our goal? To create a modern, equitable, and user-friendly website experience for all students, families, staff, and community members. Here are some of the new features we're excited to share.

Consolidation of Pages

We reduced and reorganized pages across the district and both high schools to eliminate clutter and improve clarity.

Goals:

  • Content accuracy and relevance
  • Click reduction
  • Navigation clarity

Mobile-First Optimization

With the majority of visitors accessing the site via mobile devices, we prioritized streamlined layouts and reduced media.

Goals:

  • Reduction in high resolution photos
  • Eliminating single use PDFs
  • Improve loading speed and readability

Purposeful Landing Pages

Each main navigation area now includes a centralized landing page.

Goals:

  • Orient users
  • Connect users with information
  • Clean, intuitive format

Simplified Athletics and Clubs Sections

One of the more intentional changes was reducing both the Clubs & Activities and Athletics sections to a single page with anchor-button navigation.

Goals:

  • Equal representation
  • Consistent standard
  • Encourage up-to-date information

A Living Platform

It’s important to remember that websites are living platforms. This new structure is not an endpoint—it’s a more sustainable foundation that will allow the site to grow with the district’s needs, adapting as content, programs, and audiences evolve.

Provide Your Feedback

The restructure of our website is the first step in creating a more powerful communication tool for our community, but we know there's still work to do. We will continue working during the coming months to make additional improvements.

Let us know if you find a bug, have trouble finding content or have suggestion on how we can improve.
