Residency

In accordance with Illinois School Code and Board Policy 7:60- Residence, only students who reside within the attendance boundaries of Community High School District 128 may enroll at Vernon Hills High School or Libertyville High School. During the registration and enrollment process, families will be asked to provide the residency documentation listed below. To streamline the process, the District contracts with a third-party vendor to electronically verify student address information. At any point in this process, families may be asked to provide additional documentation.

Required Residency Documents (Provide One): 

• Current rental or lease agreement  OR
• Mortgage statement, loan document, or closing statement

Supporting Residency Documents  (Provide Two):

Documents must be dated within the last 60 days. 

• Water bill
• Electric bill
• Gas bill
• Cable bill
• Car insurance or vehicle registration
• Homeowner's or Renter's Insurance
• Public Aid Card
• KidsCare Medical Card
