The District is governed by a seven-member Board of Education. The Board’s office is located in the Administration Center, 50 Lakeview Parkway, Suite 101, Vernon Hills, IL 60061. Click on the link to view the Board of Education webpage.

The District currently employs approximately 545 full- and part-time employees.

The schedule of fees permitted under FOIA are:

• Black & white copies (8 ½ x11 or 8 ½ x14) of information requested – pages 1-50 FREE
• Black & white copies of information requested – pages 51 + .15 cents/page
• Color copies of information requested – all pages - Actual cost
• Certification of any record - $1.00 each
• Postage charged for any documents sent via the U.S. Mail
• Current electronic copies - Actual cost of USB

Public bodies may waive or reduce copying fees if disclosure is in the public interest. A waiver or reduction may be available if:

• the request is for information on the health, safety and welfare or the legal rights of the general public;
• there is intent to disseminate the information;
• or no personal or commercial benefit will be received from document disclosure.

The District operates the following schools and maintains its Administrative Office at 50 Lakeview Parkway, Suite 101, Vernon Hills, IL 60061.

• Libertyville High School, for grades 9-12, located at 708 W. Park Avenue, Libertyville, IL  60048
• Vernon Hills High School, for grades 9-12, located at 145 N. Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills, IL  60061
• D128 Transition Pathways, for students that require services that extend beyond the traditional 9-12 grade model, located at 904B S. Milwaukee Avenue, Libertyville, IL 60048
