Jeremy MarinoJeremy Marino began teaching at Libertyville High School in the fall of 1999. His duties include rehearsing three orchestras, preparing string quartets and small ensembles, private instruction, and running sectionals.  Under his direction, the Libertyville High School Orchestras have consistently rated among the best in the state of Illinois.  The Symphony Orchestra was invited to perform at the Illinois Music Educators Conference in January 2004 and the prestigious Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic in December 2004.  The Chamber Orchestra was invited to participate in the inaugural Orchestra America festival in March 2006 and the ILMEA Conference in June 2013.

Before coming to Libertyville, Mr. Marino attended Northwestern University where he studied percussion performance and obtained a Bachelor’s in Music Education and Percussion Performance and a Master’s Degree in Percussion Performance.
