Student Handbook/Behavior

Unless there is a specific behavioral component in a student’s IEP, special education students are expected to follow the rules and disciplinary procedures listed in the District 128 Student Handbook.

Students with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

The behavior plan identifies areas of concern and strategies to implement when working with the students. General education teachers are provided with a copy of a student’s behavior plan at the beginning of the school year. When necessary, students with a behavior intervention plan meet with their case manager and LST team director to address behaviors.
