2024-25 Girls Badminton
Welcome to the LHS Girl's Badminton Page!
The Badminton season runs from the last Monday in February through mid-May

There are opportunities for badminton athletes to gain experience during the off-season. We offer a badminton camp at LHS during the summer. Please check out the athletics webpage for more information.
There is a badminton facility in Vernon Hills, Shannon Pohl Badminton Academy. They offer open gym times as well as private and group lessons. For those athletes who are looking for more intensive training, Midwest Badminton Club located in Buffalo Grove and Egret Badminton club located in Schaumburg are available.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Here is the schedule for our informational meeting and tryouts, which will take place in the main gym (times TBA):
- Wednesday, December 4 at 8 AM in the Library Classroom - Informational/interest meeting
- Monday, March 3 - Returning varsity/JV players + all other 11th/12th graders
- Tuesday, March 4 - 9th graders
- Wednesday, March 5 - 10th graders and invited 9th graders
- Thursday, March 6 - makeups/playoffs/final decisions
- Friday, March 1 - first practice for all levels
- Saturday, March 2 - Varsity only practice
