Here is some important information you need in order to plan for the start of the school year.
August 3 & 4--Students Schedules & Lockers - All students are invited to come to LHS during the day to pick up their schedules and decorate their lockers.
August 6 & 7 - Senior Carpool Parking Lot Painting - Seniors who participate in our carpool program are invited to come to LHS between 9 am and 3 pm to paint their assigned carpool spots.
August 8 - Link Crew Freshman Orientation - All incoming freshmen are invited to school for a high-energy morning of fun.
August 8 - First day of Fall Athletics - Fall sports officially begin. Specific information for each sport will be provided by coaches and the LHS Athletic Department.
August 9 - LHS Back to School Webinar (7 pm) - Designed for 10th-12th grade students and families, this short webinar will discuss our school’s return to pre-Covid operations & guidelines, as well as review some of our new school practices and District initiatives.
August 10--Transfer student orientation - invitations have been sent to these families. If you are a sophomore, junior or senior and are new to LHS and haven’t received an invitation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
August 10 - Senior Class Reunion & Pizza Party - All members of the Class of 2023 are invited to the LHS auditorium from 6:30 to 8:00 pm to reconnect with one another, participate in outdoor games, and help prepare our school for Opening Day.
August 11 - First Day of School -- This is our official first day of school for all students.
August 12 - Yearbook photos - Photos for Sophomores-Seniors will take place in the auditorium.
August 25 - LHS Open House - All parents & caregivers are invited to our Open House to tour our school and meet your student’s teachers.
August 31 - LHS Activities & Athletics Fair --We want all our students to get involved in our extracurricular activities and programs. During lunch periods on this day all LHS clubs, extracurricular programs, and athletic teams will be represented at a fair to share what they do, answer questions, and offer students the opportunity to sign-up.
