Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:

As you are aware, in preparing and planning for the addition of an all-day in-person learning option to the existing hybrid half-day in-person and remote options at LHS and VHHS on April 5th, we recently surveyed parents/guardians regarding choice options. We shared the survey data with the D128 Board last night, and want to share it with you as well.

LHS

44% All-Day In-Person

28% Hybrid Half-Day In-Person

28% Remote

Note:  72% of LHS learners will attend all or part of school in an in-person model (44% All-Day + 28% Hybrid Half-Day = 72%)

VHHS

29% All-Day In-Person

15% Hybrid Half-Day In-Person

56% Remote

Note:  44% of VHHS learners will attend all or part of school in an in-person model (29% All-Day + 15% Hybrid Half-Day = 44%)

Dr. Guillaume and Dr. Koulentes will communicate further preparation and planning information to their respective school communities as we move closer to welcoming more students in the buildings.

As a reminder, all students will return to school in current hybrid half-day and remote options following Spring Break on Monday, March 29th with the all-day in-person option beginning on Monday, April 5th.

Sincerely,

Dr. Prentiss Lea

D128 Superintendent
