2020 GIRLS' LACROSSE AWARDS "NIGHT"
2020 was a different kind of "season" for athletics across the country and world-wide. Our Girls' Lacrosse program was able to hold just 2 weeks of practices before the COVID-19 pandemic brought an abrupt end to face-to-face contact - on the day we had our first opportunity to practice outdoors on the Stadium turf. We fell back on communication via email, Remind texts, Google Classroom, and Zoom for the rest of the season but were never able to gather together again due to the need for social distancing.
Social distancing measures also meant that we missed out on being able to come together as coaches, players, families, and friends during our annual Girls' Lacrosse Awards Ceremony.
Although the lack of a competitive season prevents us from presenting many of our traditional team awards, we are able to recognize some of our players below.
Joyce Kolton Varsity Most Valuable Player Award - Carolyn Uhm
Central Suburban League Scholar Athletes - Suniti Gohil, Terra Hemesath, Amy Huang, Faith O'Neal, Esther Olson, Lexi Rootberg, Carolyn Uhm
12-Sport Athletes - Lexi Rootberg
3-Sport Athletes - Hanna Bush, Lily Cairo, Kendall Cohen, Emma Demas, Carly Mann, Yesanya Mitchell, Faith O'Neal, Dani Serra, Morgan Udvance, Cosette Vela
The Spring 2020 Awards Night Booklet is available on the Athletic Department web pages and includes a listing of our 2020 team roster.
