The Chicago Bears will hold the 2018 Gatorade Varsity Bears practice on Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Vernon Hills High School (145 Lakeview Pkwy.) in Vernon Hills, Ill. A limited number of tickets will be available on Wednesday, July 18, at 10 a.m. at chicagobears.com/varsitybears. All tickets are free. Practice will be followed by fireworks.
This marks the third year of the Varsity Bears high school event. The free practice brings Bears training camp to a high school for local fans to enjoy an evening of family-friendly entertainment and football. Practice is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Parking lots and gates will open at 4 p.m. Parking and shuttles will be available at the American Hotel Register Company (1000 S. Milwaukee Ave.) from 4-10 p.m. Additional parking will be available in the following Vernon Hills High School Parking lots: Vernon Hills East, West and Sophomore lots, Arbor Theater lot, Vortac lot and Lots 5 & 6 near VHAC softball fields. Please visit chicagobears.com/varsitybears for the recommended traffic routes for these parking lots. Tailgating will not be permitted. All tickets are general admission. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is not guaranteed. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to reduce wait times for entry. A mobile device is required to access all tickets.
