Incoming student Chromebook distribution is Monday, August 3rd from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (extended hours) and Tuesday, August 4th from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm at Vernon Hills High School (Please see COVID-19 details below).
In order to pick up the District 128 issued Chromebook and student ID, the basic fee payment and online registration must be completed. If you have any questions regarding registration or payments, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call our registration line at 847-932-2200.
Your student’s course schedule will be mailed to the student address on file. In addition, your student will also receive a copy of their course schedule at freshman orientation. In the event you cannot make it to Chromebook distribution, your student can stop by the Vernon Hills High School main office to pick up their Chromebook beginning August 5th between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm if online registration and payment of the basic fee has been received. Please park in the VHHS west main parking lot. Signage will be provided for families to enter door 2 on the north side of the building.
Safety Procedures & Protocols:
All incoming students & family members who enter VHHS are required to adhere to the following guidelines:
- Temperature screening at building entrance.
- Wear a face mask covering their nose and face at all times. Face shields alone are not approved.
- As directed, maintain social distancing standards communicated by staff and signage.
- Opportunities for hand washing and access to approved hand sanitizer will be available.
Students or family members who are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should stay home.
