8th Grade orientation for the VHHS Class of 2025 will be held on Thursday, January 21st at 7:00 pm. This year's event will be held in an online webinar format.
On Friday, December 18th a mailing was sent to all incoming families and included a brochure introducing the freshman course selection process. Please note, the 2021-2022 VHHS Curriculum Guide, is a digital document and can be found online at our website.
A second mailing with course request forms and individual student course recommendations will be mailed following the virtual 8th grade orientation program on Monday, January 25th, 2021. Detailed instructions on how to submit this form and where to direct questions will be included at orientation and in this mailing.
Mark your calendars for February 4th and February 9th if you desire to schedule an optional virtual counselor appointment to select courses for your student. VHHS counselors will be available on February 4th from 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and February 9th from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Additional information about scheduling an appointment will follow in the January 25th mailing. Please wait for this mailing to schedule a counseling appointment. Course request forms and level changes are due on February 16th, 2021. Additional course selection hours for Spanish and Russian speaking families have tentatively been scheduled, virtually, for the evening of February 11th at 7:00 p.m. for all interested families.
