Students Receive Unlimited Access to the New York Times

Dear student seekers of information,

The LMC is pleased again to provide free, unlimited access to The New York Times. Your access to quality news content would no longer be limited to a certain number of articles per month.

If you would like to access The New York Times, please follow these steps to register and create your account:

  • While in the VHHS building and connected to our network, go to (You must be in the building the first time you create your account, as you will be authenticated by our IP address.  After you create your account, you will be able to access The New York Times anywhere by signing in to your account.)  
  • Create a free account using an email address of your choice.  If you already have a account, you can log in with the email address and password you're already using.  
  • You will know that you have successfully created your account when you see the Start Your Access screen.

Now you can enjoy access to, and NYT mobile apps from any location, on or off campus, just by logging in to your account. You may also download NYTimes mobile apps at
Please note:  Our digital subscription provides unlimited access to and mobile applications. However, Cooking, Crosswords and e-reader editions (e.g., Kindle Fire, Nook) are not included.

Also, please know that our subscription does not give anyone permission to copy content from The New York Times and/or publish content on a school website, on a personal website, on an intranet, or on any other platform.
