The VHHS Library Media Center was named an Exemplary School Library by the Association of Illinois School Library Educators (AISLE). Established in 2018, the award recognizes school libraries throughout the state that exemplify the standards set forth in Linking for Learning–a book that includes school library teaching standards determined by AISLE and approved by ISBE. Six schools were named Exemplary School Libraries this year. VHHS Librarian Monica Caldicott will receive the honor at an award presentation at the AISLE conference in November.
