VIP (Voices in Prevention)

VIP, or Voices in prevention, is an alcohol- and drug-free organization in Vernon Hills High School. VIP presents the benefits of a drug- and alcohol-free lifestyle, along with how to avoid them, to current high school and middle school students. This information, along with tips for dealing with bullying, relationships, and diversity issues, is presented through skits given by Vernon Hills High School Students!

What is VIP?

  • An active club that offers leadership training in skits, panels, and group processing.
  • An opportunity to reach out to the you and teen communities and share what you’ve learned.
  • VIP spreads the message of how to deal with relevant topics, including:
  • Bullying/personal safety
  • Relationships
  • Alcohol and drugs
  • Diversity issues
  • Students participate in a variety of activities, such as:
  • Classroom presentations
  • Performances at feeder schools
  • Community outreach
