On June 28th, thirty-seven students from Vernon Hills High School FBLA set out to Anaheim California to compete in the National Leadership Conference, held from June 29th to July 2nd. After tough days of competition, two groups came away with top 10 finishes. During their free-time at the convention, students attended thought-provoking workshops and traded state pins with students from others schools.
Outside of the convention, Vernon Hills FBLA enjoyed their stay in Anaheim by visiting several mainstay attractions. They spent time relaxing on the beach, meeting with Mickey and Minnie at Disneyland, and having dinner at the Anaheim Garden Walk.
