STUDENT FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS

Fees – Student fees are defined as any charge related to basic registration fees and other optional fees available during the registration period. 
Fines – Student fines are defined as any charge related to library books (late or damaged), textbooks (missing or damaged), classroom equipment or materials (missing or damaged), athletic equipment (missing or damaged), or other charges incurred.
All students must pay their fees, fines and meet other financial obligations incurred while in attendance at LHS/VHHS.  Money collected will first be applied to the student’s outstanding fee charges before money will be applied to athletics, activity tickets, parking stickers, and summer school enrollment, or fines incurred.
Students who have not met all of their financial obligations from previous years will have the following withheld:

  • Participation in athletic contests
  • Summer School enrollment
  • Activity ticket
  • Completion (Blue) slip in Driver’s Education
  • Parking sticker
  • Senior Lunch Release

SENIOR STUDENTS

  • All school fees and outstanding fines must be paid before a student’s official transcript will be sent.
  • Seniors who have not met all of their financial obligations (fees and fines) will not receive their graduation tickets.
  • Seniors who have outstanding fines, will not be allowed to participate in commencement exercises and/or receive a high school diploma until financial obligations have been met.
