Welcome to the Course Selection Process Overview
Important Dates:
- January 10th, 2024: 9th - 11th grade class meetings with school counselors to prepare for counselor appointment.
- January 11th - February 9th, 2024: 11th grade students book individual appointments with counselors.
- January 16th & 17th, 2024: 9th grade students counselor appointments during PE/Health classes.
- January 18th, 2024: 8th grade orientation at VHHS.
- January 24th & 25th, 2024: 10th grade students counselor appointments during English classes.
- February 9th, 2024: Course request/selection window closes. Students will have the opportunity to request course changes again between May & July. Requests will be approved depending on the availability of space/seats in the specific course.

The videos below highlight important topics regarding the course selection process for the 2024-2025 school year. Parents and guardians are encouraged to watch these videos (videos contain closed captions created by Google Meet) as they prepare to make their course requests and meet with their school counselor.
