HEALTH SERVICES
The health services of the school are under the supervision of a registered school nurse. Provision is made for first aid, assisting students who become ill during the school day, and for the supervision of a student’s health program when special attention is required. The parent will always be notified in case of serious injury or illness. The student will be sent to an emergency room by rescue squad if necessary. No medications will be administered at school unless they are essential in order for a student to remain at school and unless a physician prescribes them. All medications should be stored in the nurse’s office and distributed by the nurse.
