Sugarman World Languages Achievement Award

In 2009, the Sugarman Awards were first established to honor, Judy Sugarman, the former World Languages Department Supervisor.

Students that earn the award have demonstrated academic excellence and character in their language studies at Vernon Hills High School.

Academic Excellence: 94% or better

Character in the Classroom:

• seriousness of purpose

• cooperation

• honesty

• commitment to others
