Link Crew
Link Crew is a nationally recognized program that assists all freshmen with their transition into high school.
Link Crew offers our incoming students a host of benefits. Libertyville High School’s Link Crew Program is a 1 semester freshman transition program that pairs incoming freshman students with hand-selected junior and senior Link Crew Leaders. Incoming freshman students are introduced to their Link Crew Leaders during Freshman Orientation and will continue to meet with their Link Crew Leaders twice each week during half of their lunch period first semester. Second semester, students will report to Link Crew quarterly for larger group presentations and "reconnect" days with their leaders. During first meetings a variety of timely topics will be addressed by Link Crew Leaders in an effort to ease the transition to high school as well as maximize the opportunities available to students at LHS. The Link Crew approach is based on sound principles of learning and delivers messages in an active and social manner that students embrace.
