2023-2024 Schedule: Due to the LHS swim team/water polo schedules, unexpected issues or scheduled repairs, the schedule may vary and may be canceled with or without prior notice. The coach will notify participants of changes.

Time: Practice will be held at Libertyville High School on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, 8:15-9:30 pm and Sunday evenings, 7:30-8:45 pm.

Who:
Libertyville Masters is a year-round adult swim club for swimmers over 18. We value health, fitness, fun and a lifelong love of swimming. Our program strives to provide an environment for all types of swimmers; competitive swimmers, triathletes, or fitness swimmers. We are a USMS registered team that runs 4 organized practices a week.
Our program supports the goals of swimmers at all levels. We currently have swimmers striving to achieve at the local, state, and national levels of swimming. We are also proud to be preparing swimmers for sprint, olympic, and Ironman distance triathlons and adults who have chosen swimming as a component of a healthy lifestyle.
Fee:
- $100.00 per session
- $375.00 for one year (four sessions)
Participation:
Swimmers must complete the following prior to participating:
- Full payment (link provided for online payment is at the bottom of the registration form)
- Have turned in completed medical release / registration form
Registration:
Registration is ongoing on-line. Registration will end when all spaces are filled. District #128 does not pro-rate the registration fee.
Coaching:
The program is run by Coach Laurel Whittington and Coach Michael Reed. Coach Laurel has been swimming for her entire life! She began coaching Libertyville Masters in 2008; her "real" job is coaching 18 & under swimmers. She's worked with both pool and open water swimmers, so if you need a little advice, just ask!
Coach Reed joined our staff in 2022, but has been swimming with the team since 2010. After retiring he decided he wanted to teach swim lessons to little kids. He is also full of swimming knowledge, just ask!
Coaches will conduct each practice based on the goals and needs of the participants.
