This page was designed to help families who are interested in moving into the Vernon Hills High School District or have recently moved into the district and require registration information.

Registration Procedures

Step 1: Set up an appointment at Vernon Hills High School:

Step 2: Proof of residency requirements will be required at the initial appointment. Proof of residency is required by submitting orginial documentation in person. All documents must show the same address and name associated with the property. 

  Category I Documents (minimum of 1)  
Most recent tax bill Mortgage Statement Closing statement for purchase
Blue assessment from Lake County Assessor's Office Signed Current Lease (all pages) with two proofs of payment  
  Category II Documents (minimum of 2)  
Utility bill (gas, electric, water) within the last 60 days (we only accept 1 utility bill) Landline phone bill Cable TV bill
Car insurance Car registration

Homeowner's or renter's insurance

Voter registration card Public aid card or Kids Care medial card  

Step 3: Prepare all necessary documents including student transcripts, passport or birth certificate, physical and immunization records within 30 days of enrollment

Step 4: Attend appointment to meet with data processing and school counselor to complete registration process
